Do you remember Gak? That’s right. A blast from the past, probably early nineties. It was like Play-dough except slimier and gooier. It was short lived if memeory serves, but for a while every kid had it. Who wouldn’t want to play with goo? And flouresent coloured goo at that? And then, when the originality of the idea had worn off and us kids had gotten bored with it, they added to it! Then there was glow-in-the-dark Gak, and may other inventions? Oh, primary school days, when Gak could make you cool. Nikelodeon should win an award for making so many kids love this stuff. Honestly, it doesn’t do anything, it’s all about your imagination. I’m thinking maybe I’ll do a series of blog posts on 90’s fads. There were some brilliant ones. I can’t wait for the day I have kids who beg me to buy them goo because it will make them cool and it’s the latest thing. Oh goodness, maybe I don’t miss primary school at all.
